Why? We won our last match.

I have to say though, that I would love another striker in, but if Davey is confident in what he has at his disposal, then lets get behind him.

I can't understand why we aren't trying to get a striker in. We were willing to push the boat out for a proven goal scorer in the summer when all our strikers were fit and now the best one is long term injured we're not bothering. Strange!

Maybe Mostto can get some goals? Davey has got 2 games to have a look at them before the loan deadline. If we struggle I would expect him to change his mind. I reckon we will be ok. Macken is capable of getting a few. As long as we stay solid over this period we will still win games. Getting Moore back is just as important as the strikers.

maybe he thinks that saying this will add confidence to the strikers, so then he can see what they are like when they have got trust and pressure on there shoulders, obviously if it doesnt work out then he'll be picking up the phone and fetching someone in... mosstto appears to be settled now and after his goal should be given a start, and macken looks as though he has goals in him... thought it was a great strike when he hit the cross bar last weekend.... as for odejayi and rigters... well whos knows, personally not sure odejayi is upto to task but while ever hes getting picked ill support him, and if i was defending against him id **** meself everytime i saw him running towards me so might be a good player to pop in if we play a team with a relatively small and frail defence. rigters has shown promise before he came to the club, not seen much yet but with any luck he'll rediscover his form and we'll have a star for the rest of the season...
and this is not to mention coulson who was starting to come good last season before his injury and the boy wonder who we'll probably not see much off unless we get a couple more injuries.

thats a positive view on things though, probably get slated now for making out we have 4 world class strikers but i dont give a s**t

As well as givng the strikers he has a vote of confidence it may also be a smokescreen to other clubs.

If he has got a target in mind the last thing he wants to do is announce it to the world.

    Why's that?

Because people can't remember that constantly changing the manager has not led to short term success?

Rigters should be playing in the Reserves to try and sharpen up.

too happy to sit there doing nothing and picking up a wage.

nah, regardless of what extreme Davey camp you pitch your tent in, I think most intelligent posters have acknowledged a lack of fire power. Plus one of them has recently had his skull fractured.

That's probably what Windy was getting at. A good run doesn't change that really.
