He has no choice to drop him. He will be in no state for football. He can't even drink water during daylight hours so how can he keep his body hydrated. I would have thought that playing football would dehydrate him to a dangerous level. As a professional footballer he needs to rethink how strictly he follows his faith. There are plenty of Muslims that will compromise in a small way, surely taking on some water wouldn't remove him too far from his faith.

Even in Oslo where I was in July the sun doesnt set until after 11pm and is up again by 2 - but if furher north are you required to move house for a month so you can eat?
