and 2 phrases I am struggling with "one of the Championship team’s top stars" and "suffering a dramatic loss of form during September’s holy month." I must admit I havent seen him play in the last couple of games but if he has lost form dramatically from the low standard I saw earlier he shouldnt be in a conference team let alone a 2nd division one
looking at the size off him, can he really afford to fast from sunrise to sunset there's **** all too him now!
He has no choice to drop him. He will be in no state for football. He can't even drink water during daylight hours so how can he keep his body hydrated. I would have thought that playing football would dehydrate him to a dangerous level. As a professional footballer he needs to rethink how strictly he follows his faith. There are plenty of Muslims that will compromise in a small way, surely taking on some water wouldn't remove him too far from his faith.
Serious Ramamdan question This moves so its not at the same time every year - when it falls in June/July what do Muslims living in Northern Scandinavia do? The sun never sets. Even in Oslo where I was in July the sun doesnt set until after 11pm and is up again by 2 - but if furher north are you required to move house for a month so you can eat?
Kids in our place don't do pe at when they are fasting At the request of their parents - is that an insult!
