he made a nuisance of himself. good pressuring by the lad. i feel the silva and colace midfield combo is the way to go. leon will be lucky to get a game after last nights performance by the midfield.

Colace was at the breakdown of almost every Wednesday move; almost every 2nd ball was mopped up by him. He was always in the right place at the right time.

Anderson has undoubted class, but just looks like he's trying to look as though he's taking the **** out of the opposition instead of trying to beat them.

I enjoyed last night very much. That's our best front two, and if we play them two up top all season I've no worries about us staying up. Macken was great last night linking up the play and keeping posession.

    I certainly did!

Thought he had a cracking game. Broke up so much of their play with important tackles/interceptions, and then just kept it simple once he got the ball. That said, cracking shot in the first half, and one or two very useful passes too.

agreed mate he was superb, he broke a lot of attacks up from wednesday, rarely gave the ball away, knew exactly his job to win it and give it simple, looked very promising to me.

Definitely! First I've seen of him and I was very impressed, looks like another good signing
