Walked out by the Supporters Trust office at about 4:30 to get into his 4x4 outside the club shop. He walked straight out of the door, head down and didn't say a word to anyone. It wouldn't have harmed him to show some appreciation to fans who had queued for six hours, by asking how we were and saying a polite hello. Manners cost nothing and he will do well to remember that. I thought it was a disgrace he blanked us and I wasn't alone.

He probably knew you were in the queue. I wouldn't have looked up either. :)

well it was different at about 12pm

he got out of his 4x4 and did acknowledge and say hello to a fwe fans that were at the side of the reception.

maybe he was fed up and tired at the end of the day, bit like most of us when we are at the end of the working day and fed up and want to go home.

What he should have done is asked who went to Coventry, and apoligised to them.

Why should he have to say anything to anyone.
Did anyone say owt to to him?

I can't see what's ignorant about not saying anything to someone you don't know.
Do you go round saying hello to every reds fan you see in't Tarn?

That's bang on there, he should have bought all those who went to Cov's their Liverpool tickets, I imagine he'll get a few to give to family and friends.
Maybe the other reason was, as he walked in the office, I did tell him to join the bacvk of the bloody queue like every bugger else!!!
It got a laugh from the people stood around who'd been stood around for nearly six hours and, I wish my working day consisted of kicking a football around and getting paid handsomely for it!!!!!
He should be all grovelling to those fans.............not ignorant!!!
    You mighty REDS

Because its part of his job to ensure that the fans are at least made to feel they are part of the club, but you will never see anything wrong with Davey , so I dont know why I am even replying.
If you are in charge of the team and saw a large crowd of loyal fans that had been queueing for hours, would it hurt to stop and chat with them, if not it just makes people resent him, just like this thread. /poo
