I think his "faceless people " comment plus his "if he doesn`t want to play for this club" quote about Brian Howard appears to me as though he is trying to keep on the right side of certain individuals at the club. Criticising any supporters is not in a managers remit and goes against last weeks call by Patrick Cryne to unite the club and fans together. IMHO.
i personally think some people who critisise Davey are ignorant and I would rather pay double for my season ticket for them to go "support" someone else with their negativity. Barnsley are a small team, with a small population, with difficulty to attract top players. Davey is doing as well as anyone available at the moment.
