Heard Simon Davey on Radio Sheffield tonight, and have to the guy has gone up in my estimations a million plus times.

He was clear and focussed solely on Iain Hume and Barnsley FC.

Without all the anger and angst Simon clearly indicated his thoughts and feelings related to the events of the last week.

Repeatedly Giddings try to find out what evidence BFC have and are going to send to the FA. Simon calmly indicated that this was a BFC matter and not for discussion.

    Thankyou Simon.

Thanyou for representing my hometown club with dignity and honesty.

I know what you mean. I have also been thinking this week how much publicity Davey has received since being our manager. Some of this has been for good reasons and some for bad , e.g

    - Ronnie Wallwork getting stabbed literally days after Davey taking charge as caretaker
    - Last seasons cup run
    - Making Lazarus the youngest ever league player
    - Hume/Morgan incident

It's remarkable really and at times resembles something out of 'Dream Team' for those of you who you used to watch it on Sky One !
