Sack of cack Machin did a decent job barring his last season or so when he went off on one. Still did a reasonable (if tedious at times)job. lost the plot when we sold a number of our better players. Better than most we have had in the last ten years.</p> Had a couple of decent seasons under Mel and I watched nearly every game he managed.</p>
Maybe its a selective memory thing. But that last season he was with us... we did play some dull stuff. Having said that I probably saw more reds games with Mel as manager than with any other.
Ah, but if we did unearth the new Adie Boothroyd... ...looking at Watford's position in the Prem we would've sacked him by now...
