watching Soccer AM this morning and they were interviewing the owner of Wycombe Wanderers after their well earned draw against Chelsea. They mentioned the large risk they had taken in appointing a manager with only eight months of managerial experience, in Scotland. more than Simon Davey. says something when a league two club were hesitant appointing their manager with little experience and we, in the Championship, appoint someone with zero. A gamble that doesn't seem to be paying off at the moment. I will be there on Tuesday and I hope Simon turns it around but with all his badges and things I reckon his lack of experience might mean he does not know how to turn around a situation such as this, where motivational skills are needed equally as much as tactical expertise.
RE: Simon Davey..............badges don't make prizes You can have as many badges as you want - if you can't motivate a team then you can't motivate a team And Davey can't motivate a team Ritchie was good at motivating a team but he couldn't build a team Be nice to have someone who could do both
agreed like a director of football I'd personally have Winstanley in, would at least improve the quality of football. Don't forget it was just like watching Brazil when he was assistant. anyone with a bit of experience to give SD a bit of guidance when the knowledge he gains from textbooks and tests runs out. Like against Wendys when we were getting played off the park and he couldn't change anything, yet to see him play an effective plan B.
simon davey himself does not look motivated he does not move on the in the dug out were as with ritchie and holden we saw passion
Well thats B*ll*cks that is........................ There were plenty of games where Ritchie stood there looking clueless.
RE: Arsene Wenger doesn't move that much either nt but at least Davey makes sure all the team look smart when we lose, thats the most important thing a team needs. Not a fecking clue about how to beat the opposition tho`
