Having him as caretaker is doing no harm right now, why not keep him on his toes? If he carries on winning there is no reason why he can't give himself a shot, but 2 games is not enough time to judge when you have a choice about it.

Look at all the lads qualifications. Half of managers in the Premier League haven't passed all them coaching badges. Southgate and Roeder haven't passed any.

That will be a real test. Credit Davey, he has picked the team up, and although we aren't playing attractive football, we have won 2 out of 2, and no-one can argue with that.

Leeds away will be a real test. They are in as desperate a situation as we are, and they will want revenge for the result at Oakwell.

If we get something at Leeds, I think Davey will be a strong candidate for the job.

 

Let 's see what happens against Leeds and West Brom first.
