maybe I will start looking forward to going to oakwell again maybe I will start caring if I miss a game due to other commitments maybe I will stop hurridly changing the topic of conversation when colleagues start discussing whats wrong with the team maybe I will start turning up at Oakwell and see a balanced team playing with a pattern of play and self belief most importantly, maybe I will start to have hope again things can only get better
Agree rothred, I know many who will return now Davey has departed and who will fufill those feelings which you hold.
What on earth is your problem? The club has finally made a stand and said 'enough is enough' with Davey - there is clearly some ambition there to do better and move forward. We have an owner who has clearly shown his patience with Davey and no doubt will be careful in the selection of the new man, who I do not doubt he will back properly and for the long term - I very much doubt we'll get back to chopping and changing managers, and there is a decent squad of players for the new man to work with (albeit that whoever it is will have to do some work to get new faces into that back four). Yes, logically, there is always some how that the situation could get worse - but as it stands, if we can't afford to be optimistic and positive about the future now, we might as well pack up and go home. Now really is the time to get behind the club and the doom and gloom has to go.
RE: What on earth is your problem? I'm just waiting for all those who 100% knew we'd have been relegated had we kept Ritchie in charge to give us their verdict on what would have happened. We can't be certain until they've spoken.
RE: What on earth is your problem? There's been a few people getting their crystal balls out (so to speak) on here already. Nostradamus has got nothing on some of our fans.
It got to the point where missing matches from my season ticket would have been better than making the effort to go.
