Now, I'm just spitballing here, as I, like the majority of this board have no idea how much brass Simon Davey has to play with. However, money permitting, these are 3 players that I would like to see us interested in, and any one of these, I feel, would be a good acquisition at centre back. Anyone else got anymore suggestions?
Not sure who Francis is but definetely agree about Ward - Very good defender (Y). Peterborough have had an offer accepted for Whitbred today so if were to get him we better move fast!
Francis is at Southend, but is way better than that. Would be a good signing, for anyone in this division I reckon.
Zak Whitbread. The BBS has seen him three times, and already made their minds up that he's definitely an improvement on what we've got. He was sh*t in the final against Paul Hayes. Also, I seem to remember a few on here saying they knew people who supported Millwall, and they had said he didn't play how he did against the scum every week.
He can play both positions But I wouldn't be overwhelmed if we signed him. He's decent, but no more than that in my view.
