Made his debut for Kettering in the top of the table Blue Square Prem match against Stevenage yesterday. Result was 1-1, which keeps Stevenage 2nd with Kettering a point behind with a game in hand in 3rd. Know a couple who went and they said he looked very good. I want him to do well obvs but surely hes better than conference level if davey wanted him to break into our first team !
Its a shame that he's had to drop down to the Blue sq to get a game. Thought he'd maybe get a league club.....
I would imagine that Nicky Eaden being their Assistant Manager is the reason we send players their way......Luke Potter last season. Heslop has played for 4 Conference clubs on loan over the last 3 years, plus Grimsby (which amounts to pretty much the same standard), so I'd say that currently thats his level as no League clubs have enquired.
