Thought he looked pretty useful.... in the televised FA cup match between Tamworth and Norwich City. It is a good idea to put promising players out on loan, preferably with league clubs, to give them a chance to mature in a higher standard than reserves and to see what they can do. Choosing the right loan deal is in the interests both of the player and of the club. The player should come back a more rounded performer and has been given the sort of challenge which shows whether or not he should be retained, or given a new contract. Another good piece of dealing by the club. Heslop come well come good. I would like to see him loaned to a lower league side, though, before the club has to make up its mind.
