BARNSLEY manager Simon Davey is looking to further add to his squad after Dwayne Mattis became the latest new boy at Oakwell when he completed a switch to the Reds on Thursday afternoon.</p>

Simon has already brought in Grant McCann, David Lucas and Adam Eckersley this month and has revealed his January shopping is not yet finished.</p>

Speaking to www.barnsleyfc.co.uk, Simon said: &quot;We have brought in Adam Eckersley from Manchester United and then captured Dwayne Mattis from Bury on Thursday afternoon. We are continually on the phone trying to get players in and hopefully there will be more to come.</p>

&quot;We would want them in as soon as possible but the transfer window has caused a mad panic as every club tries to sign players this month. You will get teams holding off right to the end of the month so we will have to work all the time. It will hot up and I am sure the last day will be hectic. Hopefully we will have done all our business by then&quot;.</p>
