Simple analogy for all those 'Real' fans that slag off people who criticise and....

...slag of those of us who have wuthdrawn their support. Whilst I respect your opinions regarding continued support (its your choice) why criticise people, who for various reasons have decided to spend their hard earned cash elsewhere(that being their choice)? Anyway to the analogy....

back in the late 60's early 70's you found a nice little local restaurant. The food was not too fancy and sometimes it was not great, the decor was a bit run down and shabby but occasionally it served up some delicious fare albeit with non-expensive ingredients. However, it was very cheap and the chef and owner really cared about his customers, Then the restaurant over the years became ambitious and the decor and food improved but the prices increased to the point where it was nearly as expensive as the Michelin starred restaurant in the city. For one brief period they hired a chef who served up great food but when he left they hired a series of journeymen chefs, paying them and the waiters ridiculous salaries but standards fell dramatically.

Unfortunately, the new owners had lost sight of the fact that the loyal customer base was dwindling and kept on pushing up prices whilst failing to address the poor quality. Also, the suppliers were charging top prices for produce that was not of a good standard. People deserted in their droves and vowed not to go back until the food quality matched the prices or the prices dropped to match the food on offer.

That, in a nutshell, is where we are at. the vast majority of people have prioritised how they will spend their hard earned, limited resources. We all have a choice but its up to a business to influence that decision. BFC frankly run the business like a corner shop although football in general is in decline apart from a handful of over-hyped premiership clubs!

We're just really really ****. Lack of funds is no excuse for just how **** we've now become under Hill. Losing at home to Wednesday and Brum with just 1 goal scored is as diabolical as it gets. We are going down I'm afraid. With a whimper.

The Board could'nt organise a piss up in a brewery! The clubs being destroyed from the inside.

 

I would say without a whimper Mike. A whimper suggests we are putting up some miniscule pathetic effort to avoid it. We aren't.

Oh I know that restraunt

they eventually got taken over by a huge national consortium, BeefEater or Harvester or summat.The food got better and the word spread.However the locals cannot get a seat now as a loada Hooray Henries from allover the place decided to go eat there, leaving the locals to look on through the windows.
