It's becoming a simple equation. If we don't see the club make a change then I'll make one. Can't keep on watching this and wallowing bottom of whatever division we are in. They say a good team wins when they play poorly, we play well and lose. If the players can't change and stop the basic mistakes, then change the players. Says it all.
I have just spent a week supporting the "Free the Barnsley Two" campaign, don't know if there's energy left for a "keep the Reds up" campaign.
There's a simpler equation. Some say we can't afford to sack Lee. How does the cost of that stack up to the cost of relegation to League Two?
strong stuff there Icer, have a few beers and chill out a bit eh (chill-Icer, get it ? ohh never mind lol). we talk about making basic mistakes, this is something all players do and thats fair enough. but how much longer are we going to have so see the same players making the same mistakes time and time again. you know what, i dont blame the players. if they arent good enough then its not their fault, i blame the ones whos job it is to make sure this doesnt happen, ie the coaches/managers/owners etc.
Fully agree and having slept on it i feel just as demotivated as i did when i posted. We brought in players who we felt could step up and who our coaching staff felt could improve. In fact a lot of the attraction for the players themselves was to improve under LJ. Right now I believe these players are good enough to do better. Maybe not top 6 but better. Add some experience and a little more quality come January and thats progression. Unfortunately we definitely aren't developing them, seeing progression as a team nor developing their confidence. Still can't help thinking this isn't a management only thing, there is something much deeper thats dictating decisions (or lack of)
