Simple Idea re- Simon Davey

Judge him at the end of the season.

 

There's only one guy on here that has been against Davey all way through

And thats McCarthy
All the rest have come out of the woodwork and that is soley down to results without people stopping to consider that Davey has had to build two teams during ONE season

Big Sam Aladyce has just been on the Tele talking about trying to build a team at Newcastle with 14 new players and he said it would take time because you aint going to get a quick fix with so many new players
The same applies to Barnsley
If you count Nardia............we must be talking something like 18 new players at Barnsley this season

 

Two teams?

The ones Davey will play and the ones he`s frozen out.

The one before December when Howard, Muller looked like being sold but only McCann was sold and then we lost Nyatanga, Werling, De Silva and Macken

And the one at the end of January when we signed Nardia, Leon and Tinniho and got Nyatanga, De Silva and Macken back

Revolving doors..................but what a team we have now. Its going to be a roller coaster ride to the end of the season but one that is going to be very interesting and one that sets us up very nicely for next season (if we can keep the main players together)
