simple maths .. when does 4-4 = less than zero .. please explain

with four out ... thats mcphail shuker mcindoe and wright
(thats three out of the squad permanently and one out on loan)

and with four in ... knight wallwork mccann and reid
(and thats three on a one months loan and and one possible permanent addition)

it should be clear to even the dimmest wit that 4 - 4 does not equal a strengthened squad even if the players were broadly of the same quality which clearly they are not !

so who exactly is kidding who here ? ...

it seems to me its yet another sad case of the emperors new clothes
