the address bar (if thats what its called) where you can type an address, ie http etc is missing where have I lost it? can someone in simpleton terms help me get it back (doh)
managed to find that and yes it is ticked! I didnt notice it had gone! I was told... Only thing I can think is I have a new lcd screen but I have tried adjusting it still no address bar??
Can you find the word "Address" anywhere on the top bit where the bar should be? If so, grab the vertical line after the word Address with your mouse pointer and drag it to the right. If this makes your address bar appear, go back into View Menu > Toolbars and click "Lock the Toolbars".
thanx revvie just sorted it it was there like you say but toolbars where locked and it took me some time to fathom to unlock before it would move, probably one of kids!!!
