I'll steal the easy ones: Better fan engagement and visibility than Don Bowed to pressure to establish a beer bar in Ponty which reaps ££
Better communication from the club. 1000% better. (Although still not perfect. I thought Ben should have addressed the problems people had at the under 21s game and if it was nothing to do with the club, to tell us). You can buy a beer in the Ponty. Club shop and catering have come back in house, we'll have to give them time to see if that's an improvement. I like the card instead of the season ticket booklet and renewing this time was easier and quicker than ever. The instalment plan was superb too and a real help for me personally. Negatives - we lost a hell of a lot of money to get relegated which has never been fully explained. My problem with BFC is that we sack managers far too readily and the turnover of the playing staff is far too high. A repeating situation which I believe is responsible for our steady decline. I wouldn't point the finger at either Don or Ben for that.
Positives- knows how to negotiate better with agents and player contracts! Brought in the cards! Got involved with fans like Bradford walk for example! Tried to change the clubs signing policy! Negatives- sometimes I feel as though some targets are forced on the manager because we see profit as opposed to helping the team! I feel his two managerial appointments have been poor in Wilson and LJ when I felt Mellon and Burton deserved more of a chance! I also feel like the changes he's made to try and please fans no1 really wanted like the club badge thing and instead he's failed to address the things we do want, new scoreboard better half time entertainment ect! Conclusion- I feel he's got a good organised mind but he's running the club too much as a business and not as OUR beloved football club! The untimely sacking of Wilson, poor treatment of Bobby and Matt Bailey and the naming and shaming people on Twitter are just destroying what all the fans love about Barnsley!
I'm not getting a season ticket for the first time in 20 plus years and my young un wants a Chelsea shirt, probably more of a general decline in football but at the moment I don't see many positives for the season ahead.
Positives: More fan engagement, appear to be sorting out the marketing and revenue side of the club (albeit slowly).
The club are still sacking managers yearly and rebuilding the squad every time that happens. Think that goes beyond the chief exec who's been here 2 years. Everything else is window dressing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
He's got in with WSB that was going to be independent to the club. The season cards might be a good idea eventually but not yet. If they weren't going to have a loyalty system in place for them they might as well have stuck to season tickets where less issues can arise as you don't risk the technology of the scanners not working. We hear more from the club than we did under Rowing. Although it's not always a good thing because less is more. A lot of the time old points are repeated rather than speaking only when something new is to be said. Linton Brown is doing a great job of bringing in new sponsorship. But all the deals are undisclosed so we don't know if they are for 2 pound a season, 1 million pound a season or something else. We've had another under 21 match that to those watching at home will have looked really good with three busy stands. Not so good though for those who went with the issues raised. We've got rid early of garbage players like Jennings and Lita. But then we've had to pay them for the privilage.
maybe he has used the chelsea shirt as a n excuse......the real reason being that we are ***** and have been for years with no prospect of turning it round, despite all the ****** that jase and Co. keep churning out? just a thought
Positives: He's got a lovely disarming grin which belies his years. Negatives: He's got quite a round head.

my positive re jase: talks a good game negative: we are constantly changing managers but we are still rubbish hth
