we have been -1 10 5 6 8 5 1 points above the bottom 3 so it is the second worst season in that respect-Ritchie was sacked for 15 pts from 18 games
Time to hierarchy to sadly get involved and tell him some players still not good enough despite 50+ games at this level. Wiseman, Done and McNulty for starters. If that happens though its obviously the beginning of the end
My faith in Keith is starting to wane but I still don't want him sacked however if he is he won't have to look very far or hard to find the reasons why the trigger was pulled. Come on Keith wake up, stop playing your pets and start playing the best players for each position. If he doesn't he will lose the fans.
In all honesty, Mario The longer this winless streak continues, the more likely it is he'll be moved on, irrespective of how much the likes of you and I give him our full backing. A defeat at home to Burnley might even be enough for Patrick Cryne to pull the trigger.
Agree Kev. I reckon that Tuesday is a pivotal game in Keith Hill's career at Barnsley. I would be really disappointed if he does go, as I think it will leave us in total disarray, but lose on Tuesday and I would fully understand Pat's reasons for pulling the trigger if he does decide to go down that avenue.
Re: In all honesty, Mario I think you're right Kev, I was comparing this run to the one Andy Ritchie had before he was sacked at the game yesterday. I really fear that time is almost up for Keith.
Why let him sign these players then sack him? We're not in the relegation zone and the players we've brought in looked more than capable of improving the team. Buzaky looks a great player and just what we need a bit of forward movement and penetrative passing.
If Keith Hill is sacked I haven't the foggiest idea who we can bring in, who is available and who would actually want the job. That doesn't mean he's irreplaceable, just that I don't know who we could get.
What I didn't understand was why bring those players in and leave until we were two down with twenty minutes left to change it. Two or three players were awful yesterday and it took Hill far too long to make changes.
Re: In all honesty, Mario Even if we lose heavily on Tuesday I still think it's too early to sack him. We're all over the place at the minute, but he's just brought four new players in who have the potential to improve us. I'd definitely give him until January to see if the results begin to improve, even though I do think he's a bit bonkers.
