Willy Ferry and Kayode Odejayi lol seriously though if pin the blame on anyone other than the rochfail duo then you've been living under a rock the last 2 year!
The clubs been stuck in the same rut since we got promoted back to this division, nothing to do with Watkins or Mansford, and certainly nothing to do with Hill or Flitcroft as many strangely seem to be pointing out. The reason we've not been able to finish higher than 18th since our return is down to a lack of investment. I applaud Patrick Cryne for holding out for the right man to come in before he sells up, but the club just cannot compete at this level financially and its a miracle we've survived as long as we have (that's where credit should go to former managers). That said, I think I'd rather drop another division and be competitive next year than be sold to the highest bidder, who doesn't give a flying **** about the club and has a stand off with its supporters week after week like the owners of Cardiff and Hull do. If that's progress, then I'd rather go downhill.
Being flippant so excuse me but strangely Caridff's Tan would be OK at Barnsley. He wanted Cardiff to play in red as that's a lucky colour in Malaysia. He could have invested at Oakwell and not needed to upset the fan base with a colour change.
Whilst that is a very good point. He's done a lot more than that to rile the fans, that was just the start. If you believe what is written in the papers, Solskjaer (sp) could soon be out of a job despite the fact that Tan forcefully ejected the previous manager to install OGS just 2 months earlier.
We replaced lower league players like Wiseman, McNulty and Dagnall with higher league better paid players like Proschwitz, Frimpong and Shea yet doing no better. We aren't going up the league but our wage bill is going up.
totally agree with all of that I too would prefer to be a bigger fish in a smaller pond, than the state we are in now.
