RIP Sir Bobby When someone dies they always go on about how nice that person was, how respected they were etc. Sir Bobby was one of the very top people ever to be in the football business.
Condolences and Respect Doesn't seem like that long ago he was managing in the Premiership. Top bloke, RIP

He was once near us at a youth game against Newcastle on the academy ground; he passed every pass, shot every shot & made every tackle. A true Gent and 100% football motivated man.

A sad day indeed for football, but his suffering is over.

I absolutely loved him. What a man. Devoted his life to football. Spoke to him about 18 months ago at a NUFC game - he was as enthusiastic about the game as he was at 17. If some of these alleged footballers had 2% of the passion as Sir Bobby - then the sport would be much healthier. He'll be sadly missed.
Very sad to hear this news. He was a legend and a gentleman. I had the privelege of meeting him once after a reserve game at Oakwell. He was lovely and chatted for ages about football and our chances against Ipswich at Wembley, of course he managed Ipswich for a time and he obviously had a soft spot for them. I got his autograph and was thrilled to talk to him. He has fought cancer very bravely and privately. RIP
