I know we were up against top class opposition today, but it seems Bobby is struggling. He's lost a yard of pace and his positional play no longer keeps him out of trouble. I've been increasingly impressed with Wiseman recently and think it's time he consolidated the right back position. He's very quick and has developed into a better player as the season has gone on...

I agree hope wiseman can make that position his own!

Remember the old Des walker song?

Sprung to mind when their winger couldn't beat wiseman for pace

    "you'll never beat, Scott Wiseman"

He's never had any pace to lose. He's a one pace player with out the ability to accelerate quickly.

His positional sence is also lacking. It's time he was moved on.

Personally I think Hassell is still a very good player and he was exceptional against Leeds. I also think Wiseman looks an excellent signing. I think Hassell generally should be first choice but given their formation and pace of their wingers Wiseman would have been a better option today. Great to have options and Hill can pick according to the oppositions strengths

I completely agree ark; he's had a poor game today and all of a sudden some are calling him gash and saying he should be moved on. We saw what he can do against Leeds and I personally think Sir Bob has another season, at least, in him at this level.

Definitely. And Wiseman will be learning all the time from him

I should be used to this board by now. But jeez, I didnt hear anybody moaning about Bobby last setdi.. and very little praised him either. Despite him putting in an outstanding display, and been involved in 2 goals. One that he set up with a pass Beckham would have been proud of. His positioning, awareness is spot on. Today he got done for pace against a player that has done it time and again in the PREMIER LEAGUE this year... just as Wiseman was done time and again by Blackpools wingers

Wiseman came on today and was far better than Bobby...it was far too easy for their wingers against Hassell.

Whitey, I agree but also think it should be horses for courses. Given their pace today I would gave started Wiseman although Bobby would normally be my first choice

Spot on whitey, as per usual there's a real over reaction from certain quarters just cos we lost to a well organised premiership team,

Not just today but I think Hassell has had a poor season in general...his positional sense this season has been poor.

No because Wiseman and Edwards should both start next week...all the back four were poor today.

Got you fixed up for an appointment at Specsavers mate..
I like Wiseman, so I wont bring up the fact he's started 9 of our 10 league defeats, compared to Bobbys 3... oops, I brought it up.
Its sometimes better to not look or feel the need to blame our players, and instead accept they were up against quality opponents.
    Just a thought like

I think Hassell has had a decent season, Hes kept wiseman out for quite a few games and seems to have changed Hills thoughts towards him.

People on here only seem to see his bad games

To be honest I think most fans still see that Bobby is more than worth his place in the team and is having another decent season. Fortunately Hill sees the same as the majority of fans.

you keep going on about wins, that means nothing about hassell. barnsley beat posh with hassell in team, hassell was shocking and against palace when we also won. Me or you could play for real madrid and madrid would still win games. doesnt mean me or you are good players. same goes for players in a team that doesnt win. There are 3/4 really good players at coventry. it doesnt matter that cov have lost a lot of games they are good players.
