To start with I have never lived in Barnsley, just happen to like watching the Reds when work allows, call it madness im not sure, but to hear the people who obviously do come from Barnsley go on about Sir Dickie Bird (his next title I hope) makes me wish he was born in my town. And I hope we built a bigger statue than Barnsley, Melbourne, or London, to honour this great Yorkshireman. Thank god I live in Yorkshire like Sir DIckie Bird, what a fine example to any person from where ever they come from to know people like him still exists. So can the fools just shut up and enjoy the privilege of having a legend of Yorkshire live in their town. Rant over and well done lads for outstanding football last weekend.
