    One story I heard of him

    He was engaged to be married during the war. Unfortunately, his fiancée was killed during an air raid. Sir Patrick never got over her death, never having a similar relationship for the rest of his life.

    Love the man. I felt compelled to watch The Sky at Night last week for some reason and noticed how frail he looked and had a bad feeling about it. A complete original, and a wonderful personality
