Ayup, I'm a bit miffed about the size of avatars that we are allowed, every time I try to upload one I am told that they are too big - each one is smaller in terms of height and width than many of the exisitng ones in use e.g. Windy and David in Lincoln have quite large avatars. They are also smaller in terms of bytes than many of the exisitng ones e.g. Harrow Tyke 251523 Bytes DJ Fatty Boy 385693 Bytes City Tykes 200894 Bytes The ones I have tried and failed to upload are sized as follows: 188673 Bytes 152466 Bytes 37104 Bytes 62381 Bytes Any thoughts as to why this is? Ta very much!
RE: Is it something to do with Actually that helps - I didn't know that you could have them hosted from another website - I have been trying to upload from my hard drive - will look into it....
Size of avatar Yeah I changed the size limit for avatars hosted on the site to cut down on bandwidth used. You can simply host the avatar on another site and enter the URL.
