    Sort this swear filter art will tha Gally? Otherwise am gonna abuse yer facebook wall wi every obscenity I can find and include a selection of otherwise underused offensive terms in each of my posts on here, starting with felching and frot. They'll also be mainly homosexual terms to add even greater offence.

    I can't even say p I 55, t I t s etc. I don't mind f c k I n g being blanked out and the usual like c u n t and w a n k e r but p I 55?!

    Ive been on PNE and Donny's boards this last week, and there is no filter whatsoever.
    But folk arent swearing left and right. So I dont see why ours cant be the same.
    Id like to see it removed for a week, and see how adult we all are.... :/

    We were getting complaints when we first moved to this format as there was no profanity filter for quite a while but I have to agree we went too far.

    We're never going to please everyone unfortunately! :(

    Im not fussed either way tbh, but I did find the PNE site quite refreshing. The format is exactly the same. I forgot I was on Preston's board when me, Nightmare and Dreamy were discussing Doyle t'other day! ;)
    But Paul, I think the excessive swearing at the start was more down to it being the 'start'. Folk got a bit silly with it.
    I think a filters a bit pointless anyway. You only have to type **** or lovely person to get round it. Id give it a week without the filter like I said. And if it gets silly mate, at least you tried.

    It`s time the swear filter went for good because its turning me into a reight foul-mouthed b@st@rd by me protesting to being censored.

    Removal would see less abusive language and anyone going OTT could just get a 24 hour ban to bring them to their senses.

    You just need to be creative with what you say.

    Agree the swear filter needs to be a bit more lenient, but we hardly have to ban anybody these days or monitor for abuse because it just isn't there.

    Much better than accusations of us being Nazis
