    but isn't Paki short for Pakistan, thats a country not a race

    so how is abbreviating a countries name racist. Also a good many do think the said person is a **** or various other expletives, thats an opinion surely.Personally I think the lad is great. However I am regularly called all those names and more on here, but nothing is ever said to the callers.Likewise down here in Wales I get called all sorts of English batads, it bothers me not a jot. So why should these people have such a huge chip on their shoulder over it.

    I'm not getting into this now but FFS sometimes you don't realise the **** that SA have to deal with

    At the end of the day it isn't appropriate to call anybody a Pa*iTwat. The reason why it is offensive is his colour has nothing to do with him as a person or an athlete therefore the term becomes racist.</p>

    And yes Pakistani is a race much in the same way french people are.</p>
