you dont get a notification for liking someone else's posts it sometimes looks like you have because you when you check your like/thank etc is at the top of the list. But usually you will have received a thanks/like lower down the list that you haven't yet acknowledged the notification.
Something could be done about the four threads of Gally further down the board which are all duplicates that have already been posted up.
Then the only the explanation is that someone have liked your post and then unliked it - you still get a notification I am 100% certain that if you like/dislike/stfu the post you wont get a notification but if you look in your list in your profile it will state that you have done. if some one likes and un like you post you will still get a notification and your last action will be top of the list But the system defo does not send you a notification of your own actions
I think we should be getting an upgraded version that will allow more control over this. Im just moving the site over to a new, more reliable host and upgrading some of these features at the same time (and trying to get the threaded forum view back working).
Well earlier for example, 3 people had liked my post but I'd liked 3 others and at the top it said 6 notifcations. Then I disliked a post earlier in the thread and it said I had one.
