    Wont record, and the non-terrestrial channels don't work.....I'm out of warranty, so does this mean buying a new one?

    just tell them u want to cancel they should repair it free if you can talk the talk i never once paid for a sky box and i had 3 in my time. dont let them make you pay.

    Guy at work got a reconditioned one for £39, quoted him £199 for a new one, the reconditioned one even came with a 12 month warranty. Also was offered the HD one for £49, ok if you have an HD tv, you have to take the £10 per month HD package!

    happened to mine .the hard disk has stuck . needs resetting.Phone sky up ,will take you through it all.
    my warranty has expired but they will still reconfigure it for you following there instructions.
