Sky Broadband phone help

I want to change to Sky broadband and have Sky HD and there phone setup however i have just rang them and i have to revert back to a BT line as i am with Talktalk when that is sorted in 9 days it will take another 30 days for Sky to set it all up. I presume i will loose my Talktalk internet connection when the BT line is set up so i will be without internet for 30 days and also have no email how can i then inform everyone my new email address. Think i must be missing something as it seems to difficult to do has anyone done this and can help me out

I think you switch to renting the BT landline but keep your broadband/calls with Talktalk. This stays until the Sky broadband kicks in.

I'd do it if Sky would offer me the package but they won't cos I'm not in an area that has Virgin.
