Just thought i'd have a quick skim at what's being televised for the first couple of months.

17 from the 24 teams will be on Sky, during August and September. 5 teams will be on twice, 4 will be on 3 times and 7 teams won't be on at all. We're one of those 7 teams.

They'll change their tune when we're in the top two come Christmas.

Looked earlier, sure Newcastle and Villa are on 4 times before end of September.

All a bit predictable. I don't have an issue with Villa, Newcastle, Leeds, Derby even Wednesday featuring heavily because they are likely to draw the biggest audiences. If I was at a loose end I'd probably tune into to watch a Villa match rather than a Preston one. What frustrates me though is the barmy choices. Why Newcastle v Brighton? Why pick that one? Why Cardiff v Leeds? There hasn't been a tasty game between those two since the Ninian Park days. Of all the League One teams to feature we have Gillingham/Blades and Swindon/Peterborough. Ah well, can't please everyone.

For the first time ever, I don't plan on subscribing to sky sports this season. I have lost interest in the premier league as a spectacle. Will continue to watch BT Sport televised games, but will watch more Bundesliga instead. O much prefer the entertainment the German league provides in all honesty. Any game that really does take my fancy on sky, I'll either go to pub or find a stream online. Any good Kodi feeds for live footy? Not found anything great as yet.

Brighton, Reading or Ipswich away are usually my favourites for TV games. Games I won't attend basically. But they'll end up putting our game with Wednesday or Leeds on and making it Friday ******* night or summat.
