any one got it? is it difficult to set up? my dad has a sky sports subscription does that mean I could get sky go to my laptop at university?
Yes, you will need a few details off him. Could be card details i think but not sure. you can register 2 devices but once registered you can only chance one once a month.
It's dead easy to set up provided you have a sky ID (very easy to set up). Note though, Sky will restrict it to just two specific devices so if it's already been watched on say an ipad and an iphone you won't be able to view on your laptop.
You can watch it on laptop if its already been used on two devices, you can manage devices on sky go and delete a device and add another , you can only have it two at the same time though.
You could set up an additional user... i've got another user setup to use my account so when i log in i have my laptop and my sons itouch connected and then i have an additional user account under my partners name so that i can use the other laptop to have it on, so i have currently got it on 3 devices in the house
Re: You could set up an additional user... I used to do this but it stopped working when sky go came along. Might give it a try tonight
Re: You could set up an additional user... tried that, wouldn't let me. 2 devices is a joke in this day and age for a familiy of 2 adults and 2 kids. No problem with only 2 using at same time but registering only 2 devices at a time is just stupid, especially as they only let you make one change per month. in our house we have a computer, 2 x laptops, 2 x ipads, 2 x ipod touch, 2 iphones and a xbox, currently sky go is set up for xbox and an Ipad. It wouldn't be too bad if they gave you another 2 devices for having multiroom.
