Or whatever it is.... that thing where you subscribe to sky, and then get an allowance for a number of devices. What is to stop a person from subscribing, then handing over their login details to other people?
Do you just stick your Sky ID into your phone then? I ask because when we moved house Sky gave us 3 months free sports and movies because I threatened to move to BT. Wunt mind watching Liverpool vs Man Utd ont train home tomorrow.
As Jimmy cricket says there is a limit on how many devices you can have and you have to register the devices to the account. It might be 5 with the extra package but standard sky go is just two devices so your phone and laptop for example. The other problem is that it isn't every sky channel its only some of them and the last problem is you can't stream it from your phone/laptop to your TV as sky have blocked it. Netflix works similarly, you get so many devices at once without having to register them and a lot of people share those
I use sky go mainly on the laptop, I believe the subscriber must have the sports package if you want to watch sports on sky go, correct me if I'm wrong Silver light the software that powers smart TVs won't play sky go which is a pain for us ( clever) tight arses!
2 devices as standard or 4 if you have multi-room or sky go extra. anyone can use it as long as you trust them with the password
