SKY + HELP NEEDED

I cannot get anything out of our Sky + box. The green on light is on but the box does not work from either the remote or the box itself. I have tried the usual trick of unplugging everything from the back with no luck.

Not tried Sky yet though.

Any clues as to putting it right?

something similar happened to me when i first got mine.</p>

i just unplugged everything, took both the ariel cables out and took the viewing card out. i left it for about 10 minutes then just reconnected everything and its worked fine ever since.</p>

I have done that for two minutes so I will try it for a little longer.
