    Can any one tell me what the USB port is for at the front of the Sky + box. Thanks

    My boyfriend is a sky engineer and he's never used it, but 99.9% certain it's for downloading information when they go back for repair etc. Can't be a good sky instalator can he if he don't know?!.......

    When i had my sky+ installed i asked the engineer if you could use the usb slot to plug a laptop or mp3 player in and he said that the usb slot is not used for owt at present and is just there in case sky decide to do something in the future with it,i have plugged my mp3 in it and the box doesnt know anything about it.
