SKY+ - How much ? .....

I already have a SKY subscription (basic package &pound;15.99 approx per month)</p>

100 quid installtion and a tenner a month.

You can get a gizmo for abart 250 notes that will do almost the same job..ie 14 months subscription and the 100 quid and its thine then.

 

About £100 for the box + Install, but I haggled a bit and said i'd been a long and loyle customer etc and got it for £60 including install. Subs are £10 a month unless you subscribe to 2 premium chans i.e. sky sports 1 and 2, then you get it free. would be worth upgrading your subs rather than paying £10 extra just for sky plus.

The best thing is you recieve 2 signals. So you can watch 1 and record 1, or record 2 and watch a previously recorded programme. You don't get this on the standard PVR's, these are like the video recorders can only record what your watching.

No messing with times just go through the programme guide, select one and press record.

Best gadget I've bought. I've got more out of having sky since I got +. i.e. missing starts of football games, or clashing with Eastenders when the Champs league is on etc. Buy It!

 

Sky+ subscription is an extra £10/month, but free if you have either a movies or sports premium package.

If you live with someone with a different surname and a different bank account then change it into their name. Depending on current deals you'll get it dirt cheap. Think I paid £40 but then got 6 months half price line rental.

I enquired at one of those sky lorries you see in town centres and the bloke actually told me to do it. Other half phoned up and said she was moving abroad on x date, I moved in same day but needed sky plus fitting asap.

Whatever you pay just get it as it's a million times better than normal sky.

 

Get it bought. Its brilliant, best gadget around.

Er....yes you do, actually. My Humax 9200 and many others have twin-tuners. I can record two channels and watch a third channel or record two and watch a previously recorded programme. 7-day EPG, pause live TV, picture-in-picture, yadda yadda..... All for, er...&pound;0 a month. I dumped SKY last summer and haven't looked back.

 

2 sky signals?

Do you get 2 sky signals, this is what you pay for I believe. They come and install a new receiver and run second cable in. I'm not talking sky and terrestrial I mean 2 sky chanels.
