I'm currently thinking of getting sky+ installed.

A bit gutted to see that the standard installation is £30 and the box price has now gone up to 149.

I'm almost positive it was £100 a couple of months ago.

Does anyone know where I can get it installed cheaper, may be independeny sky companies or install it myself.

    Cheers

If you are not already a subscriber you should go through Quidco for £110 cashback. If you are already a subscriber though, you can't take advantage of this unfortunately.

By the way, if you already are a subscriber you could try what I told my dad to do. Ring them up and say you know someone who has got the box for £99 and fitted free. You want the same. I do actually know people that have since blagged the box for £49 and got free installation - but they will probably give you a reconditioned box at this price. Definately worth a go mate - but like I say, if you are a new customer, go through Quidco.

Get straight in for Sky HD

if you can afford it. Proper TV system and more channels coming on. Worth it for the sport alone.

Not sure about installation but I bought a new sky HD box from Digital World in Wombwell for £169 the week before last. Thought that was a bit of a bargain as sky wanted £270.
