I'm considering getting it but, from the images on their site, it looks like you only get one remote control. That can't be right can it?
Nah! If you have multiroom you have one remote per box Be a bit difficult otherwise when both being used. You going to get Sky+? The pictures are for illustrative purposes only!
you get a brand new digibox with r/c they move your old box to the new location so you will have 2 controls, unless you've not got 1 as now that is! make sure you keep the telephone plugged in on both too, i took mine down to the old man, lasted about 6 months before they said they'll bill me for 2 full subs btw, if you call sky, use 01506 522720 as opposed to the rip off 08702 number which sky gets most of the profit for
I don't know for sure they don't I just know they're cheap and easy to get from using an unofficial video sender for the bedroom.
Cheers. Here's a handy thing. Just type in the non-geographical number and it gives you the alternative. Couldn't believe the Inland Revenue were at it. HERE
Just had it fitted, got sky+ downstairs, old digibox upstairs and in the daughters room got a magic eye which controls the old digibox, and all it cost was 40 quid which Sky fitted on thurs.
That's weird Am I reading this right? They're advertsing companies that sell 0870 numbers on a site that is against 0870 numbers. Isn't that like Bob's Butchers advertising on the vegetarian society web site. BTW what's an 0870 number?
I've just gone all minimalistic and ripped out loads of wiring. One of the things I did was take out the phone extension to the other room and replace the phone with a cordless extension thingy. I'm back-heeling the idea if I have to run another line in for the extra box. .
RE: That's weird they list the companies that have 0870 numbers but always include their normal number too with the intention that instead of ringing 0870 the customers will instead ring the cheaper alternative normal number.
by listing more and more 0870 companies' alternative numbers they are reducing the amount of calls to 0870 numbers.
and 0870 is like 0845 isnt it?
