Tried to get Sky this morning. Numbers are not answering and managed to get one, told to go on line. Went back on line all busy all morning I have tried My grouse is I just did a new deal with Euro Sports included. If they cancel that and Discovery channel, I think they have broken my contract and I should have lower fees. What are others on here doing
Waiting for now - I'm guessing there'll be a last minute change of heart by both parties come Wednesday Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Think you should argue for a reduction anyway (tell them you're leaving, it's too expensive etc.), if you're persistent you'll get it. I recall that in their T&Cs they indicate that they reserve the right to change the content of the packages they offer (or some similar phrase). You will be able to get a reduction in what you're charged for a fixed time (12 months or so) but choose your line of argument a bit better.
They can change your package but must give you 31 days notice to do so, failure to do this is breach of contract on their part. Just mention that to them, they will should soon back down.
Been on the phone about exactly this this morning and had no trouble at all suppose it shows it's all about the luck of the draw of who answers
I would cancel, but wife likes movies and I like films and sports. Eurosport is the most likely to show Tennis and we both watch it. She is a Murray and Federer fanatic. Hoping both sides back down and business is back to normal. Will definitely quote 31 days rule. That's when I get them on???
Yep, quote the 31 day rule as they have breached the contract by not adhering to that. The fact they have removed programmes is neither here nor there unfortunately as the contract allows them to do so - it's the 31 days bit that they have broken.
