You could try turning it off at the plug and try recording it again. Do it repeatedly till the red recording light comes on. It normally works.
Check all your connections mate. Could be something as simple as that. Also try ringing sky and let them do a diagnostic check on your system. I had the same problem and it was just the arial connection.
is it recording at all? From what you said I assume it won't record itv1 while you watch another channel but what about recording itv1 while you watch the same program? Or if you're watching live TV will it allow you to pause or rewind a little bit? Try those to narrow down exactly what is it that wont work and then it will be easier to find out what the problem is
Ring up Sky-They'll sort it out or turn off the mains Let them check the diagnostics and connection supplies. Why don't you try shutting the mains off and then turn it back on.
ITV do have their own version of BBC's iPlayer. I haven't ever used it to know if they will show Coronation Street on there. ITV is just truly abysmal. Except for Soccer Night which was ace.
RE: ITV player tends to buffer alot nt Has anyone had sky+ and on the screen it says please insert your sky viewing card and it's actually already in the box? Have not the foggiest why this is happening...!
