    You Would Think.....

the unemployed bums we were interviewing for the job would be in a rush to be interviewed, with the view to putting food on the table in the near future. It didn't take Wednesday half this long and that was to appoint a decent manager at another team.

Its a farce or a smoke screen.

My guess it allows Blackwell time to sort out his differences with Leeds United.

The board are right - its clear to everyone that there's buggar all available to choose from, and we don't really have the money to be paying compensation on removing someone from another club - aside from the fact that theres no manager in League One/Two that I would want at our club anyway. There has been no rush - its about the board finding the right man for the job out of what is available, and in the meantime, Davey has steered us 5 points clear of the drop zone. This season is about keeping our head above water and staying in the division - we just have to trust whoever the new man will be to bring in the right men to ensure thats the case.

IF we beat Sheffield Wednesday, my belief is that Simon Davey will be the new manager of BFC.

Grant McCann was very good today in his PROPER POSITION.

Kyel Reid has been very good throughout his loan spell.

Would have happily begged for us to sign Wallwork.

Don't want any of our loan players? You just spout rubbish.

Sorry..but Worthington would be just as bad an appointment as Blackwell - he was hated for the football Norwich were playing. Dowie and O'Leary wouldn't touch us with a bargepole, I don't care what anyone says on that one, and Alex McLeish wouldn't either.

    Reid........

as come to us for experience with view to playing for West Ham in the premiership next season so we cannot sign him. Wallwork i don't want us to sign because he isn't fit so don't need another Kell. McCann didn't do bad but doesn't overally impress me. Knight scores less than Barry Conlon so no thanks.

i reckon the answer is yes he does, and thats why he's got f all, has made f all of his life and isnt a successful business man who has been appointed to turn the club around.

he's obviously of the p riddy school of business, spend loads, sign loads of players on long term contracts, they dont do the business, but hey, we're still paying them 8k a week despite them not getting in teh first team.

i reckon LT should be our next chairman., oh, and my red setter should get a place on the board, he can lick his own arse and everything.
