    what kit do I need to transfer my Sky+ programmes to PC and then burn them to DVD?

    yeah, its summat like a TV out card that plugs into the PCI slot of you're computer. Then you send the AV cables from sky box to computer.

    not entirely sure thats wat i need to clear up, tried googling but not many good results. not sure if any special software is needed either

    Without taping it or attaching it to a DVDr, you need a TV card for the PC. Problem is it's a lot of hardwork and quite tiresome.

    Alternatively

    Could get a DVD recorder with a hard drive - got mine for about £160.

    Download from Sky+, edit as you wish on the hard drive and then write to DVD.
