drogba should be banned for ten games and arrested for threatening behaviour.

in all honesty,so what if he swore, it was after the watershed,
we did similar at cov, though not on telly,
they were robbed of 4 decent pen shouts, 2 blatant,
the ref had an howler, sending off a player for nowt then when messi got fouled he did **** all.
be a while before he gets an high profile game.
but over the 2 games the best team went thru

so its ok for kids to listen to a role model saying f this f that, and saying its a fix. i dont think so. drogba should take his bat and ball home and get on the next flight to milan or whetever he wants to go cos he has got no place in english football.
darren fletcher didnt react like that last night when his world fell apart did he??

He's right about kids.

My young 'un wasn't overly impressed. However it will be the talk of his playground tomorrow.

There's enough diving and play-acting in his under ten league as it is. Courtesy of watching overpaid prima-donnas like Drogba on telly week in week out. How long til they come off the pitch on a Sunday morning calling the ref a cheating fecker and accusing him of fixing the result. Or trying to grab the refs arm like Bllack. It'll come, mark my words. And footie will be a poorer game when it happens.

good point that mate. kids copy what they see on tv. and what they have seen tonight is not good. sky could have avoided the drogba incident anyway.

how many kids young enough to be up at that time who dont already know what goes on?
hear a lot worse from the fans.
its todays society im afraid, everyones used to it now, its upto parents to make them not follow their example, but you're naive if you think 10 year olds dont eff n blind, my 12 year old forgot to switch his phone of once and his mates were at it, but he's never swore in front of me, neither have i in front o my dad

I can see it in the Ponty...

"Oh referee that was quite an appalling decision. I'm not happy with you one bit. One more decision like that and I might well have to stand up out of my seat."

It was after watershed, you were watching a footie game, so therefore it's the risk you take.

RE: swearing

well in itself it is not, it just a way of expressing yourself.

But done completely at the wrong time and in front of the wrong audience either shows lack of education, stupidity or simply a complete lack of respect for others.

In the right setting I don't see anything wrong with swearing at all.

RE: swearing

well I actually think a bit of swearing is good for the mind and soul.

Swearing in the wrong context does show a lack of some form of intelligence or as I said purely a deliberate lack of respect.

e.g most of us would not swearr in front of our mothers or children? (well not the most offensive words anyway).
