Good luck Gaga, thanks for your efforts. Don’t think you were right for such a physical league but I suspect you’ll get a career at home or in continental Europe.
2 or 3 man of the match performance's.I hope you go on to have a fantastic career, all the best for the future.
The injury chance to save face best for both parties. I hope a replacement is lined up as I don't think Killip is the long term answer. Bring in a no1 back to bench for Killip and Smith can go out on loan and get the experience he needs.
Seems a decent lad but clearly wasn't good enough in the time he was here. Had a few decent games (Lincoln away, Wigan in cup) etc. but far too many errors that ultimately cost us points. Good luck for the future though Gaga
Familiar story However Mannone's time at Barnsley was ultimately not a happy one. Making his league debut in an away game to Preston North End on 22 September, he came on as a substitute after Colgan was sent off. He punched a cross onto Patrick Agyemang's head and the ball bounced in for the winning goal to Preston.[9] In his next match, starting in place of the suspended Colgan, against Luton Town, he dropped a cross late on and Ahmet Brković scored the winner. After suffering a knee injury, Mannone's loan period was cut short and he returned to Arsenal on 23 October 2006 for treatment.
Glad he’s going back. Had a couple of good games but cost us a few points early in the season, Northampton game especially.
I won't believe it until it's confirmed on our official site, so I will trust the journo around January 4th.
Bullet dodged !frees up a squad place, on that note Mr director of football the window opens in about 30th I would hope there’s some movement before the weekend! 2 victories albeit deserved don’t paper over the cracks.
Goalkeepers don’t have to be registered in the squad I don’t think, but it might free up some wages if we were contributing anything.
Slonina and Craig will no doubt have really good careers but they weren’t right for us from day one, loads of promise and potential but very rarely delivered.
Why? Sam in a few years might have changed his mind. He's not said he will be crap forever. He's giving his opinion on now.
