I think they made a mistake

In using the same voucher for the screening as for the match ticket.

Because they could, instead, have said that first for tickets was that voucher - therefore giving priority to season ticket holders who missed out for Anfield.

Problem with that is that lots of people will still have the voucher who actually went to Anfield as their mate bought their ticket using the spare allowed on the mate's voucher.

Only way to give priority to those that missed out on going is to use the beam back ticket instead.

Except that includes non season ticket holders, plus not all season ticket holders that missed out went to the beam back.

Hopefully a home game anyway

I think you're right Eaststander.

To be honest, there is no perfect way of making amends for the balls up, but hey, life's too short. Worse things will happen to me in my lifetime than missing out on a ticket, and to be honest, I thoroughly enjoyed the beam back at Oakwell anyway. I almost didn't bother going, but I'm sure as hell glad I did
