If only England had a top quality centre half they could call upon...ahem

And a midfield three of Delph, Henderson and Wilshere.

I don't understand how somebody like Lallana isn't starting instead of one of three.

I think Cahill is decent. Smalling and Jones all too often have a mistake in them. Would rather Stones over any of them though.

In all fairness we look a lot better since Lelana came on
How Delph is a first choice midfielder is beyond me

I wasn't doubting his ability. Just pointing out that the midfield needs somebody like Lallana to get on the ball. Wilshere is tidy in possession, but the other two are just workman like midfielders. Not an ideal trio.

I wouldn't have Jones anywhere near England team.

Cahill's dreadful for England but everyone seems to gang up on Jones & Smalling instead & he gets a free pass even though he's made loads of clangers.

Losing Balotelli for Italy's winner last summer in Brazil, getting the piss took out of him by Kenny Miller at Wembley & the ridiculous decision to try & play offside sunday.

He's got a lot to thank John Terry for
