First blunder of his tenure in my opinion. The most I would have done is change both full backs. O' Neill Thompson should have played if Moore wasn't fit. He already had 45 minutes with Foster under his belt.

Lets all pretend he hasn't made a mistake, even though we called it before kick off. Happy Valley FC!

It's not a case of being fickle

It's a big risk bringing in 3 new defenders, especially after only a few days training together. Like others have said, it might have been better to bring Thompson in for starters

How could you fault a manager for keeping faith with the same side...

who beat a premier league team in midweek?

I certainly couldn't. I was amazed to see so many changes. Obviously, if Moore and Macken were injured then they had to be replaced, but the obvious change for Moore was Thompson who played so well in the second half against Burnley. Shotton, for example, has never played a game at this level before. I'm thoroughly baffled by the team line up.

agree with you Jay, but some would be saying "why get loan players in if not going to play em"

Rob Kozluk plays like he's never played a game at this level.

O'Neal Thompson has never played a game at centre-half in the Championship.

I do think we've made too many changes, but there are different ways of looking at things. Kozluk's been dire almost all season.

We made three changes to a defence that beat a Premiership side

There was absolutely nothing wrong with the defence in the second half on Tuesday. It didn't need any changing. Today's line up is daft. It's inexperienced and has never played together. If Simon Davey had done it you'd be screaming in frustration, I see no reason why such an obviously poor team selection by Mark Robins should not be criticised.

I think its fairly clear that he doesn't fancy O'Neal Thompson, played him second half against Burnley because he felt he had no other option, and that if Moore was fit, Thompson might not even be in the squad.

I agree with you in principle, and I'm not sure I would have dropped Julian Gray, and if Moore was fit I'm sure he'd be playing.

    Poor Defence By Robins

Shouldn't have gave three kids their first starts at the same time. Our defence is even more shakey than usual.

3 of back 4 have played no mins in in defence. All 3 defenders on bench have played at least 45 mins

We beat a premiership team in midweek and then defenders get dropped so inexperienced kids can make their full debuts.

I was going to go today but decided against it. If i had have gone i would have been :'( and ready to give Robbins a (battered) unless he gave me some money back.
