    Just found out that the World Open qualifiers are being held at the Metrodome this week. I believe it's a tenner a session.

    There's some big names slated to play including Ronnie O'Sullivan tomorrow evening. Mark Selby is playing this afternoon, and Neil Robertson tonight. Kyren Wilson vs Jimmy White tomorrow morning might be an interesting one.

    I saw that a few weeks ago (not sure if it was on here). Surely you'd put the name of the venue into your sat nav, and not just the place. He's from Melbourne after all, which I imagine to be bigger than the UK.

    I'm pretty sure that Melbourne isn't bigger than the UK. Australia definitely is...:)

    I still can’t get my head around the fact that US and Australia have 3 ( or 4 ) time zones.
    Could you arrive at California from New York before you set off ?

    Don't know, but didn't Concord land in the US before the time it had set off from Heathrow? Pretty sure that's right.

    So if you kept on flying west, you’d get younger and younger ?
    Only being silly cos there’s something like a date line which stops it all.

    Yeah.. seem to remember summat about the Concorde.
    It was well ahead of its time so why did production stop ?

    Concord caught fire (can't remember if it is was at Heathrow or Paris) due to the amount of fuel it used. It was soon after decommissioned I believe.
